Drinking and Making Resolutions is ALWAYS a good idea!

Monday, December 31, 2012
It’s pretty much a given, in the blogging world, that on New Years Eve you have to do the obligatory “Year in Review” or “New Year’s Resolutions” posts. So, da da da da, HERE I AM! I’m currently sitting at my desk in leopard footie pajamas, drinking Barefoot’s Red Moscato out of my cute new wine glass, and just reflecting. I’ve decided that I’m not going to do a year in review because ain’t nobody got time for that. I actually couldn’t find enough pictures or remember enough stories to make an entire post. I drink too much. So, resolutions it is!

  • Take More Pictures- I’m exceptionally bad at documenting moments like birthdays and holidays. One thing that I love about my Mom is that she took pictures and videos of EVERYTHING. Until I got older and would pitch a fit when she tried. I want to be that person that takes her camera everywhere and documents everything. I want to have as many memories to look back on as possible.
  • Read More- I used to read all the time, I love it! The only books that I read this year were The Hunger Games series. While they were great books, I wish that I would have read more. I currently have a few books in my Amazon cart that I can’t wait to purchase and start in on.
  • Become a Better Blogger- This one is a given. I have grown to genuinely love blogging. I love the feedback that I get from my readers as well as interacting with other bloggers. Sometimes I will want to blog about something, and I will talk myself out of it because people may not like it. I’m going to be better about this and blog about what I want to when I want to.
  • Go Back to School- I want to go to Cosmetology school and I haven’t yet. This year, I’m making it happen if it kills me. Simple as that.
  • Don't Tolerate Bullshit- Again, pretty simple. I am that person...the one that is too nice, some times doesn't realize my own worth, and let people walk all over me. I will not be a doormat in 2013!
  • Find a Job that I ENJOY!- One of my setbacks for 2012 was being fired, for the first time ever, from a job that I wasn’t really happy at. I’m continuing to believe that it was a blessing in disguise, and I’m just waiting for something to come my way.
  • Spend More Time with Friends and Family- Sometimes, I forget that that's really the most important thing. Spending time with those you love.
  • Strengthen my spirituality and relationship with Jesus Christ- I’ve always been a religious person, and many times I’ve strayed away from my walk and from the path that I’ve been put on. This year has been really trying for me and I’ve, thankfully, begun to rediscover my faith. I hope to continue strong this year and get that much closer to the person that I was meant to be.
  • Eat Healthier and Get My Tush Back into the Gym!
I hope that you all have a safe and happy New Years Eve! If you haven’t yet, go and check out my review of products received in the Influenster Holiday VoxBox here!

  1. Happy New Year friend! I love your resolutions but first I must say EXCELLENT choice with the red moscato. One of my faves! I am drinking champahne right now ;)

I need to take more pics too, I am terrible about taking them at holidays especially for 2 reasons, my fam hates having their pics taken and also I just get to caught up in whats going on to go grab my camera.

I also want to be a better blogger, I would like to semi-plan my posts so I am not just rambling all the time.

I am busy getting my tushy back into shape too!

You are so awesome and I have no doubt you will accomplish your goals. I am glad we 'met' through this awesome bloggy world and I am here for you! Happy New Year!
