I actually put some makeup on today! It’s getting pretty rare these days, and although it’s fairly simple, I thought that I would share it with all of you! Simple eyes with a bold lip are my absolute favorite right now!
Please excuse my bad hair day. You can’t win ‘em all, and I really need a haircut.

For my eyes today I had to dust off my Coastal Scents Original 88 Palette. I own both the original and the shimmer one, and although I don’t use them a lot, I do enjoy the eye shadows! So many color choices. 
I started off with NYX Eye Shadow Base in the Skintone shade as my eye shadow primer
The first color (1.) is a bronzed yellow which I mixed with the second color (2.), to create my lid color.
Then, I added 3., a chocolate brown into my crease and blended it up and out
For my highlight color, I used a pink-toned color (4.), because I have obviously used my favorite highlight color from this palette, the one above it. I did put this shadow over NYX’s Jumbo Eye Pencil in the color Milk, so it neutralized the pink tones.
As always, Black Track Fluidline as my eyeliner and Rimmel Lycra Lash Extender and Maybelline Great Lash mascaras.
On my lips? MAC Red, which I will be posting about soon!

I haven't used my CS palette in forever. You make me want to pull it out. And I love bold lips on you! I feel like I can't pull it off.

Thanks, Nic! If I can pull it off, so can you. I always feel so bad that I have my CS palettes and never whip them out, they used to be my favorite! I also am in love with their concealer palette. It's huge!
DeleteI feel like sometimes my eyes feel itchy when I use the shimmer one. But it could also be my eye liner. I was never too sure lol.

oh very pretty! im way into red lips right now. for years i thought i couldn't wear red but i found just the right red somehow and although it felt crazy at first i love it. :)
