I come today bearing more deliciousness! This was my lunch today, a “Skinny” Taco Wrap. I put skinny in quotes because I’m not the best judge of what’s good for you and what’s not. This is relatively low in calories and definitely satisfying. You’re welcome to add the ingredients to MyFitnessPal or an app of the like to see the actual breakdown, but calorie-wise, this meal is around 223 for the entire wrap. I also can’t take credit for this recipe, my friend Erica made it a couple of nights ago! I immediately had to go to the store and pick everything up to make my own.
Here is what you will need for this recipe! One of the best things is that you probably have all of it already! :
- Ground Turkey (Not pictured, because I was already cooking it)
- Taco Seasoning Mix (Again, not pictured)
- Whole wheat tortilla/wraps
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Light Sour Cream
Start off by browning (or..beige-ing? gray-ing? whatever) the turkey in a large pan or skillet. I used the entire package of turkey because I was prepping my lunches for the entire week. Once the turkey has cooked, go ahead and add the packet of taco seasoning. Make sure that the taco seasoning is evenly coating the turkey.
Once the turkey is fully ready you’re pretty much done! It’s time to start assembling your wrap! Add all of the delicious toppings. You can even add different ones than I did! Wrap it up and enjoy!
